Five questions the Arsenal boss must answer before facing Leicester

We head into the game sitting fifth in the Premier League and two points adrift of fourth-placed Leicester so need a win to reclaim a top-four spot.

Here’s FIVE of them

Leicester City winger Riyad Mahrez says that he is unsurprised by his impressive form this season. Leicester progressed to the next round with a 2-1 win over the Hammers.

Twenty-year-old Foxes striker Joe Dodoo opened the scoring after just five minutes, but Mauro Zarate leveled for the Hammers midway through the first half. It was looking like it might be one of those games that go to penalties, but fortunately enough we managed to score.

Ranieri admires the strength of the Arsenal squad and expects a tough match against Arsene Wenger’s side.

“Here at Leicester there is a fantastic link between our fans and the team”, Ranieri told the club’s official website.

Up front, Wenger is likely to bring the talented trio of Mesut Ozil, Alexis Sanchez and Theo Walcott back into the fray, leaving Olivier Giroud in reserve as an emergency substitute. We are also fighting to take points from every match. The communication was good because they played very well. Gunners’ legend Ian Wright scored but couldn’t salvage any points for Arsenal in a 2-1 loss.

The news comes just days after it was revealed that England and Foxes striker Jamie Vardy had been given a lower rank than many Championship players, despite his storming start to the season and first England cap in June. Costa had been accused of shoving his hand into the face of Arsenal’s Laurent Koscielny.

Some of the wounds from one London derby were washed away from the victory over Tottenham in the league cup. “It is bad. If I remember well I didn’t win for 17 matches, or 16 matches”. That would mean leaving out two-goal hero Mathieu Flamini, in spite of his midweek heroics.

“It was important because it was a derby”.

‘My players come to the training ground with a laugh, but when we work, they’re very serious. “We did a great job and now we can start the new week”. Arsenal trio Jack Wilshere, Tomas Rosicky and Danny Welbeck are all out through injury.

I see the value in backing Leicester to maintain their unbeaten run by drawing with the Gunners. The lanky center-back is now set to be among those charged with attempting to stop arguably the Premier League’s star performer so far this season.
