Police are investigating after five people were shot during a candlelight vigil Monday.

Up to 30 vigil-goers were gathered for Jermaine Scofield, 24, who was shot dead early Sunday in Charm City, when the gunfire erupted.
Moses said police were called to the scene and found two victims with gunshot wounds. However, the circumstances surrounding the shooting are especially tragic.
The vigil was being held at the spot where Scofield was shot.. Five people were injured when bullets began to fly; four of them are women. “We only wanted to celebrate my son, and they’re shooting at us”.
“We’re trying to celebrate where one person lost his life, trying to pay him respects and someone maliciously and foolishly walked into the crowd and opened fire”, he told CBS Baltimore. As of Tuesday morning, July 12, police were still looking for more eyewitnesses.
