Two of the better, if not best, recruits in the 2016 basketball class have begun to talk about a potential package deal.

“I’m ready to decide”, he said on an ESPNU broadcast. I love the players, the program, the people that work there, the atmosphere. Tatum has said how much it would mean to his city and family if he were to stay home and play college basketball close to where he grew up.
Tatum announced his decision after a win in the Peach Jam semifinals.
Jayson Tatum has been down to four schools for a while now, but it being reported that he will make his decision as soon as this weekend.
Saint Louis University and Illinois were in his top 10.
A 6-foot-8, 190-pound forward from Chaminade College Prep in Saint Louis, Tatum is a versatile and efficient perimeter player who will give Duke great positional size on the wing, with the ability to be a multidimensional scorer who is hard to guard in the mid-post thanks to his face-up game.
If Tatum does end up spurning the Blue Bloods to play in his hometown, he would likely speed up the Billikens’ rebuilding process dramatically, if only for a year.
Duke, the reigning NCAA national champions, has had the top recruiting class in the nation each of the last two years as mentioned by most prominent publications.

“I can honestly say it exceeded my expectations”. Tatum and Giles were roommates earlier this month while leading the United States U-19 team to a gold medal in Greece, and they’ve consistently said they’re interested in maybe attending college together. Tatum is viewed as No. 2 prospect by ESPN.com and the No. 3 recruit by Rivals and Scout.
