No, this wasn’t the Giants best game and certainly there will have to be immediate improvement on both sides of the ball if they are to maintain their division lead. Give them credit for making enough plays to win the game, but we’re going to give battling. Dallas got another field goal and then took the lead on a one yard touchdown run by McFadden to go up 13-7. It may be harsh to put all of the blame on Cassel, but he is the QB and we all know people point the finger at QB’s. I don’t want to make a big deal out of it. It’s just the way we should be playing. It will be one that he and the Giants can be proud of, as they were able to get over the hump against a team they have come up short against continually in recent matchups and did it without being ideal in every aspect of the game.
