Fix Apple’s Wireless AirPods With This $10 Wire

Its good news that AirPods will be compatible with other devices other than Apple devices but a few of the defining features of these AirPods will be missing. They look like electric toothbrush heads sticking out of your ears, you say? But despite this revolutionary new design, consumers worldwide seemed wary about the potential to lose the $159 earbuds.

Some joked about patenting an “iString” to secure the AirPods in place, similar to straps attached to reading glasses or kids’ mittens. Like, sometimes you buy a $160 pair of wireless headphones, and all you want to is find a way to add another wire to the thing. To protect AirPods from getting lost, you can now actually hold them together to avoid any loss – thanks to Spigen’s AirPods strap. Unsurprisingly, the key selling point of the Strap is to “make sure that your AirPods are always by your side”, by allowing them to drape around your neck whenever you aren’t using them.

Apple’s wireless headphones have yet to hit the market, but there’s already a wire to connect them.

The strap, first spotted by Engadget, claims to be “tangle-free”, and does not contain any electrical wires.
