Flash Flood Watch extended through this evening
“We’ve asked DOT to close River Road and Needmore Road at the Macon County line where the river is flooding the road”. Flash flooding is a very risky situation. Flood stage is 10 feet.

Heavy rain is possible over the weekend and early next week in northeast in and northwest OH, the National Weather Service said today.
At mid-morning Thursday, Hendersonville Police said there were no flooded streets in town…but they were keeping their fingers crossed as small streams and creeks, and Devils Fork and Mud Creek all continued to rise.
The NWS said the ground remains saturated from Wednesday’s widespread rain, leaving little room for additional water.
On Saturday morning, showers and a few storms will occur, but severe weather is not expected during this time. High near 70. New rainfall amounts of between a half and three quarters of an inch are possible.
Friday: Showers likely and possibly a thunderstorm before 1 p.m., then showers and thunderstorms likely mainly between 1 and 3 p.m. Mostly cloudy with a high near 70.

There is an ever so slight chance of snow tonight, about 20 percent.
