Flight attendant adopts stray dog who kept waiting outside her hotel
Persistence paid off for a stray dog in Buenos Aires.

Olivia Sievers is a flight attendant for Lufthansa and she frequently travels from her home in Germany to Buenos Aires, Argentina for work. Anyone would have thought it was the end of a brief, if attractive little friendship. She played with the sweet pup and gave him some food, so he stuck by her side. “He always came back and followed me”, she told Noticiero Trece. “But it was not possible”.
After they shared some affectionate moments, the hound followed her back to the hotel. I tried one hour, but he always watched me and followed me.
‘This dog really wants some friend and some attention, really he’s always looking for a human, ‘ she explained.
For the dog, it had been love at first sight. She named the dog Rubio, and made a decision to adopt him.
Rubio had found his soul mate – even if she didn’t know it yet. However, Rubio escaped. He was back at the hotel waiting for Sievers. Sure enough, Rubio was there. When she returned two months later, the dog was outside her hotel, as if he had been waiting for her. Taking pity on him, Sievers went so far as to make arrangements with a rescue group in hopes that he’d be paired with a loving family. His mind had been made up, and it was then that Sievers’s was too.
The pooch was recently adopted by a flight attendant after spending months camped outside a hotel she frequented in Argentina. While super fit Gobi waits to go through the rigmarole that is global pet adoption, another stray pup on the other side of the world is already home, after falling in love with his new owner.

Last Friday, he flew to his new home, where Sievers was waiting for him. Sievers gave him an airplane blanket to help keep him warm through the night and eventually headed back to Germany.
