Flight Attendants Injured on Chicago-Bound Southwest Jet

Two flight attendants were injured in strong turbulence that hit a Southwest Airlines flight that was heading from Boston to Chicago, reports on Tuesday say.

Numerous 133 passengers on board told NBC 5 it felt as if the plane had been falling before it “suddenly stopped”.

A Chicago nurse was among the many who jumped in to help.

“I’m kind of just happy to be back quick”. Everybody was just kind of, “Ah!” and then it was over, ‘ he told ABC 7. Around 30 minutes later, the plane started shaking violently.

Mohoi said it appeared that a flight attendant was briefly knocked out. ‘I need help back here. ‘I need help back here.

“Thankfully, there were a lot of people able to help”, said passenger Angela Gordon, a teacher in Chicago. “Everyone came together and supported one another, but we’re all exhausted”. A Southwest Airlines spokesperson said none of the injuries were serious.

Passengers were diverted to a new plane with a new flight crew, and their flight arrived at Midway about four and a half hours behind schedule, according to Southwest Airlines.
