Flight MH370 families file lawsuit in Chinese court
A woman writes messages for the passengers of missing Malaysia Airlines flight MH370 on a banner during a remembrance ceremony to mark the second anniversary of the plane’s disappearance, in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, March 6, 2016.

During an interview with a local TV, Abreu expressed doubts that the wreckage could possibly come from the missing Malaysian Boeing 777, citing that the object looked too clean to have been in the ocean for the past two years, AIM quoted.
The plane disappeared on March 8, 2014, on a flight from Kuala Lumpur to Beijing with 239 people aboard.
A wing fragment was discovered on an island thousands of kilometres from the search area last July and later confirmed to be from MH370, the first proof that the plane went down.
If the black boxes are recovered, the data recorder should reveal details related to the plane’s controls, including whether aircraft systems that might have helped track the plane were deliberately turned off, as some investigators theorize. “The combination of two things: my love of travel, adventure and solving mysteries, together with a very deep concern for the families of all those on board are driving me in this search”, he said. If no “credible new information” about the jet’s location emerges, the search will simply end.
Two years after the tragedy, MH370 has still not been found. “We want them to try, if possible, to continue searching for MH370”, said Jacquita Gonzales, the wife of MH370 in-flight supervisor Patrick Gomes. Investigators cleared the two after finding nothing linking them to terror groups; it is believed they were trying to illegally immigrate to Europe. We do cry in silence. It’s important for all of us, to get closure, but it’s also important for the rest of the world.
“I thought the pain would just go away in time but it just lingers and continues to eat us up”, she told dpa.
The same man who found the wing has made a new discovery. A big backdrop on the stage showed a picture of a plane and read: “Search On 2.0”.
On Sunday, scores of family and friends of those on board the plane gathered at a mall in Kuala Lumpur in a memorial seeking to “re-investigate, re-evaluate, re-start” the search. “We, the families, we can’t stand this”. “If this is left unsolved, then how will we prevent it from happening again?”
Grace, who leads an annual commemoration for the disappeared aircraft, said there was less participation this year, compared to last year when there was greater enthusiasm to keep alive the memories of MH370.
Authorities have said that the search will not be expanded in the absence of fresh clues.
Najib said the lingering questions aren’t lost on officials.

Dolan said that Australia, China and Malaysia, the governments conducting the search, “don’t have the appetite” to widen the effort after spending almost $100 million thus far in mapping and scanning the ocean floor.
