Flint Pastor Cuts off Donald Trump’s Speech

Hillary Clinton lambasted Donald Trump on Thursday for mocking a pastor who asked him to not give a political speech during his appearance at her church in Flint, Michigan, Wednesday.

Trump said he “noticed she was so nervous when she introduced me”. “She was a nervous mess, and so I figured something – I figured something was up, really”. “And then she came up”.

“So she had that in mind”.

In a post on Facebook, Timmons elaborated: “Had he stuck to what his camp claimed he came to do, we would not have had a problem!” Doocy asked if he thought “they were out to sabotage you”. Polls show black voters largely favor Clinton. “And I’ll tell you the audience was fantastic”, Trump said.

We know this about him, and yet we were still surprised to see that on Wednesday, during his freaky visit to Flint, Michigan, Trump tried to use the opportunity to discuss his opponent Hillary Clinton, rather than offering solutions to solve the crisis in the town.

According to Pastor Chris Martin, of Cathedral of Faith Ministries, Timmons is relatively new to the city and other pastors had rejected the idea of a Trump visit to their churches and weren’t pleased with her decision to welcome him.

The crowd quieted down, but Trump wrapped up his speech less than 30 seconds later.

“It used to be that cars were made in Flint and you couldn’t drink the water in Mexico”.

In a bold move, a Flint Pastor stopped Trump when he started to get too political during a stop at a water crisis help center.

According to Reuters, Trump had begun attacking his presidential rival for supporting free trade agreements, which he suggested caused Flint economic difficulty.

So when Trump launched into his usual talking points and attacked Hillary Clinton, Timmons approached the podium and asked him to stop.

“Oh, oh, OK, OK, OK”.

Trump, clearly surprised, quickly responded, “Okay, that’s good”. Then I’m going back onto Flint, OK?

Trump agreed, saying, “OK”.

That isn’t true – in fact, several audience members began to heckle Trump, asking pointed questions about whether he racially discriminated against black tenants as a landlord. Trump stated that it didn’t bother him that he was interrupted.

Timmons explained on her church’s Facebook page that Trump earned the rebuke by not following the terms under which he was allowed to speak at the church.
