“He has the talent but is now battling the demands of the Premier League, playing three games a week. Those guys, they need a bit the cover of experienced players”.
Diego Costa scored twice for Chelsea in Saturday’s game while Ighalo and Troy Denney where the scorers for Watford in the thrilling 2-2 draw.
“Hiddink is an fantastic coach”, he said. “I can complain a lot…but that’s not my nature, we have to go on and find a solution as soon as possible, but it’s a setback”.
“Manchester United were first and now they are in a different period”.
“We wanted to win today”.
Nonetheless, Chelsea could have managed to claim the victory if it were not for a missed Oscar penalty and it has to be said that the Blues displayed improvements in some areas of the pitch during the clash.
“It’s a pity and a setback”. The teams who are, even in December, competing for being in the first four, like Leicester, Crystal Palace, and Watford, it’s not just by surprise, because they’re well-organised, they have skilful players – and then you can be beaten also by them.
“We had a penalty which we didn’t score, we were unlucky. I’m disappointed but it was important how we reacted when it was 1-2 – that was good”.
Christian Benteke’s second-half goal sealed the points at Anfield as Leicester suffered their first league defeat since September when they lost to Arsenal who could replace them at the top if they beat Southampton later.
“It’s always hard to play against Chelsea”.
“It’s now up to the team to show, and take the initiative to get the crowd back”.
“They needed to show the crowd what they are willing to do and when they show ambition the crowd reacts positively”.
“Chelsea have very good players and were really motivated for this match, so for us it was hard to play, but I am very pleased with the performance of the players and really happy with the result”.
“I am not surprised and the squad are not surprised that we can draw at Chelsea”, Flores said.
The point earned moves high-flying Watford seventh in the table, only three points behind fourth-placed Tottenham.
