Flores confident of fending off Ighalo bids

Ighalo’s two goals put paid to Liverpool in Sunday’s 3-0 win at Vicarage Road, leaving Watford with four consecutive top-flight victories for the first time since 1987.

Odion Ighalo then bagged a brace for Watford to leave red-faced Bogdan in the dumps as Liverpool were embarrassed.

The Reds stopper spilled a corner before Nathan Ake lashed home from close range during the Hornets’ win at Vicarage Road.

Klopp admitted he hopes this loss can in time be viewed as the low-point of his Anfield career, before defending his decision not to start Benteke.

For once the sight of jubilant yellow and black clad supporters was unwelcome for Klopp, who enjoyed so many memorable days in those colours with his previous club Borussia Dortmund.

Liverpool poured everything forward in search of a way back into the game which allow Ighalo to score his second goal and Watford’s third.
