Florida man starts Black Friday camping 33 days early
But this 37-year-old radio host hopes that camping outside the Best Buy on 1700 Sand Lake Road until Black Friday will do more than just nab him a low-priced flatscreen: He hopes it will bring attention to homelessness in Central Florida.

It’s nearly the most wonderful time of the year: Late-November, when after filling yourself with turkey and racist Uncle Jeffrey’s thoughts on the state of football today, you and the family head to the ol’ Best Buy for a few deals. While waiting for the doors to open, he is accepting donations, gifts, toys and money which he says will be given to the Love Pantry, a Christian Service Center in the city. He wants a new television, and “to raise awareness of 13,000 homeless children in Central Florida”, according to Click Orlando.
Sutton, who’s a local radio personality, pulled a similar awareness campaign a year ago, when he camped outside of the store 15 days in advance.
While he’s camped, Sutton said that he’ll try to survive only on the food and water provided to him through donations. This year, his mission to be first in line to snag a good deal on a TV started on Sunday, 33 days ahead of the shopping holiday that follows Thanksgiving. He will, however, have use of Best Buy’s bathroom during normal business hours.
