Florida State prepared for depleted Charleston Southern
Charleston Southern coach Jamey Chadwell will serve his suspension against Albany State on October 8.

Attempts to reach head coach Jamey Chadwell and athletic director Hank Small on Friday were unsuccessful.
“CSU is continuing an internal review of possible NCAA rules violations within the athletics program”.
In a separate Facebook posts Thursday, Charleston Southern running back Ben Robinson and wide receiver Colton Korn said the suspensions are a result of players using book money on non-book supplies at the bookstore, which resulted in a violation of NCAA rules.
Redshirt Junior offensive lineman Frank Cirone posted on Facebook that he was told that he was suspended “along with the rest of my offensive line for Florida State on Sat”. Two players have yet to serve their suspensions, and a Charleston Southern spokesman said the school is working with the NCAA to decide which game the final two will miss.

Florida State will take on a top-15 team for the second straight week on Saturday, but this time, that team comes from the NCAA’s Football Championship Subdivision (FCS) in Charleston Southern.
Friday, the school revealed punishments for the transgression.
The school initially said 14 players would sit for the FSU game, but senior defensive back D.J. It has led to players being suspended for using scholarship money allocated for books to purchase other items at the school bookstore.

Florida State, which overcame a 28-6 deficit to beat Ole Miss 45-34 in Orlando Monday, is paying Charleston Southern $475,000 to play in the game.
FLORIDA STATE: Playing their second game in six days, the Seminoles were able to get out of the game without any major injuries, along with getting some younger players extended playing time in the second half. “And, hopefully, we’ll represent ourself well on Saturday and try to regroup and get over this”. The coach, who didn’t use the word “suspension” during the portion of the interview that was tweeted, did allow that his FCS team will be bringing a full travel squad to Tallahassee, albeit without a handful of starters.
