Florida Zika cases rise to 25 as back-to-school day nears
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention has reported 1,825 cases of Zika through August 5, including 322 cases in Florida.

The woman is not pregnant and is expected to make a full recovery, the county said.
Although many areas of the US have the type of mosquito that can become infected with and spread Zika, there have been no reported Zika cases contracted from a mosquito bite in Missouri, according to Clay County health officials.
“We are devastated to report our first case of Zika-associated death and our hearts go out to the family”, Umair Shah, MD and executive director of Harris County Public Health told the AP. Although health officials didn’t require the outdoor entertainment area to close, co-founder Della Heiman said it was a management decision based on concerns about Zika symptoms in some employees.
