Floyd Mayweather Defends Ronda Rousey After Her UFC Loss
“I don’t think it’s cool how everyone is trolling her on social media”, Mayweather said.

“Listen, if God says, “In Floyd’s career, I don’t want him to lose”, you know what?” Mayweather announced his retirement in September. You do not want your champion sitting home or making a movie, “Roadhouse 2” or whatever Rousey’s going to do, or whatever Rousey’s going to do, or just needs a personal break, which she’s earned.
But one person surprisingly didn’t take Rousey to task after the loss.
Ali, the daughter of Muhammad Ali, meanwhile told TMZ Sports: “I think at this point, we need to understand that in order to be the best in the world, you definitely don’t ever get beat up like that in your prime”.
After Holly Holm knocked out Ronda Rousey on Saturday night – yes, it actually happened – stunned fans’ questions quickly turned from “What?” to “How?” It was then, however, that Holm threw the head kick that began the ending sequence to the fight, sending Rousey crashing to the floor.
While many went and poked fun at and got their two cents in on Rousey via various memes and comments, Floyd Mayweather, Jr. was not among the haters. In the summer, Rousey was named Best Fighter at the ESPY Awards and had a few harsh words for Mayweather, her fellow nominee.
“This fight was a lot for me, mentally”. And I’m not sure who was in on it and who wasn’t but I know this much: the ref probably wasn’t in on it. Maybe he was I don’t know. Ronda is, ‘I’m going to go out and f**king bang with you.
Despite a rough weekend, Ronda Rousey, who’s reportedly suffering from depression, appeared to be confident that she can return to the top of the sport after suffering her first loss. “It’s all about timing and inches”. “A true champion can take a loss and bounce back”, he told Fight Hype. Her ground game is unbelievable.

The jibe took place through the Instagram page of 50 Cent, the rapper who is closely associated with Mayweather, but the legendary boxer has claimed he didn’t know about the stunt.
