Floyd Mayweather defends Ronda Rousey against social media trolls
Following Ronda Rousey’s knockout loss to Holly Holm at UFC 193, people have come out of the woodwork to criticize and poke fun of the former women’s bantamweight champion.

The retired and welterweight champion said he doesn’t think it’s cool how everyone is trolling her on social media. “I haven’t really spoke to anyone about the Ronda Rousey situation, just to set the record straight”. I’ve been on the end of losing a fight and there’s a piece of my heart that has compassion towards that because I know how it feels.
Mayweather added, “Everything happens for a reason”. This was already written.
“I think people can be pretty brutal”. But one thing remains clear: she will be back. “She’s the type of fighter that you have to be very, very patient with”.
Ronda Rousey got the unlikely support of Floyd Mayweather this week.
After being dazed by a left hand, Rousey dropped to the floor and worked her way back to the feet. You do not want your champion sitting home or making a movie, “Roadhouse 2” or whatever Rousey’s going to do, or whatever Rousey’s going to do, or just needs a personal break, which she’s earned. However, Mayweather has thrown shade at MMA in the past, particularly when Rousey graced the cover of The Ring.
No word yet on if Rousey would actually take Mayweather up on his offer to help train her, but I’m going out on a limb by saying that she’ll politely decline. Her ground game is unbelievable. “I’d like to see him pretend to not know who I am now”.

I’m not sure there’s ever been a fighter that so many people have revelled in seeing lose, even Chael Sonnen for Christ’s sake! Her one sole loss doesn’t take anything away from the incredible career she’s had thus far or all she’s done for women in sports. But USA Today’s For The Win noted that she wasn’t just knocked out during the fight, she was also exposed.
