Floyd Mayweather speaks in-depth on Ronda Rousey’s loss
New UFC women’s bantamweight champion Holly Holm’s knockout of Ronda Rousey at UFC 193 on Saturday set all kinds of records. Even though Rousey has said and done a few troubling things, she’s still a person and a professional. I know I’m on top.

However, facing an elite level striking in former boxing world champion Holly Holm gave her a rude awakening in Melbourne.
When her larger-than-life persona crashed back to earth with a concussion and a cut lip on that fateful Sunday morning, the internet trolls were in overdrive churning out memes pouring scorn at the Olympics judo bronze medallist.
To have belief in another fighter after being so brutally exposed as Ronda Rousey was by Holly Holm didn’t rock Chantelle confidence as just like Holly Holm she has a rock solid belief in her abilities, her agressive style and defensive awareness.
So when you’re the opponent stepping into the ring, you’re lucky to last a minute with her – an accomplishment Rousey’s opponents have only managed to reach three times – let alone win. She could count Beyoncé, Chris Pratt, Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson and Shaq as part of her legions of fans. I’ve written about him many times, and it’s nearly always negatively (for good reason).
According to reports, Rousey was sent to the hospital after the loss and she will sidelined for up to six months due to the injuries sustained in the shocking defeat. Rousey returned to her corner bloodied and breathing heavily, and she couldn’t make the necessary adjustments to find more success in the second round. “I’m not really going to get into specifics of it, but, I mean, I don’t want a reality TV star to be running my country”.
Although it is doubtful Rousey would take up Mayweather’s offer, the idea of learning boxing from a fighter who finished his career 49-0 is definitely intriguing and could mark her return to her dominant form. “A true champion can take a loss and bounce back”, FightHype quotes the retired boxer.

The instant after Ronda Rousey was knocked out by Holly Holm, she became America’s favorite punching bag. If there’s positive news for Rousey, it is the spreading rumor that she’ll be given an immediate rematch by the UFC. This fight wouldn’t’ve happened if she hadn’t accomplished what she’s accomplished, so I have a lot of respect for her.
