Super Mario Run will only be timed exclusive on Apple’s App Store, and will eventually come to Android platforms at an unspecific time. Nintendo is working on the new Super Mario Run, which will arrive not only on iOS but also on Android in the coming month.
With just a finger, users can control the Italian plumber by making him jump as he automatically runs from left to right on the iPhone screen.
So, how exactly will Super Mario Run work, given mobile devices don’t have the traditional input system of consoles?
The character, Mario, in “Super Mario Run” is an automatic runner.
The press release states that the game will be available for trial for free with the option of an in-app purchase to unlock all the features. Other players will be represented by new stickers, which are coming to iMessage as well.
There is no flag in the mode, but rather, the players keep running, jumping and collecting coins until the time runs out.
Super Mario Run is scheduled to release in December on iPhone and iPad. Moreover, there is an additional mode which will let player create their own Mushroom Kingdom based upon their game points.
The game will cost a set price (not yet known), and will be released on the App Store later this year – nearly certainly in time for Christmas.
