Along with those few words in Italian, the frontman of Foo Fighters shared a video, in which he spoke in Italian to those who wowed him with that stunning performance of “Learn to Fly”.

Foo Fighters were recently forced to pull out of headlining Glastonbury after Dave broke his leg, but he dismissed reports they have already signed up to perform at next year’s event as “bulls**t”.
Earlier this week, a group of 1000 musicians got together to send a message to Dave Grohl and the Foo Fighters, hoping desperately that they would come to the city of Cesena on their next tour so their fans there would get a chance to see them.
In the video, a huge crowd of guitarists, drummers and singers is shown belting out the song with excitement. “Italy is a country where dreams can not easily come true”, Zaffagnini said. It’s David. Hi. I am sorry I don’t speak Italian, just a bit, a bit. This video, was good!
“We’re coming, I swear”, Grohl said. Thank you so much. Thank you so much.

In the video, organizer Fabio Zaffagnini asks Dave Grohl, Pat Smear, Nate Mendel, Taylor Hawkins and Chris Shiflett to make the trip to Italy for their superfans. “I love you. Bye”.
