For 10 teams, Rio provided a first feel of Olympic gold
The London Games Bronze medalist, Yogeshwar Dutt will be vying for top honours in the 65 kg weight class.

Yogeshwar kept attacking through the rest of the second period – especially coming close to pushing his opponent out of bounds with 40 seconds to go – but Ganzorigiin kept his defence intact till the end of the bout.
Experienced wrestler Yogeshwar Dutt, India’s last realistic medal hope on the concluding day of the Olympics, crashed out after losing his qualification bout as the country’s biggest-ever contingent bowed out of the Games with a paltry medal haul of two.
India’s hopes of ending their Rio Olympic campaign on a high received a major setback as wrestler Yogeshwar Dutt suffered a crushing 0-3 defeat against Mongolia’s Ganzorigiin Mandakhnaran. So, the Mongolian now needs to win two more bouts if Yogeshwar has to go into repechage.
Meanwhile, expectations were also high from Narsingh Yadav who was ousted from the Rio Olympics as the CAS slapped him with a four-year ban.
Sehwag though wished Sindhu on her Silver medal win as well, saying, “Gold wud hv been gr8but even in it they do mixing, out of 500gm Gold medal, 494gm is silver, but u wud know d price of dat 6 gm best”.
Two-time World Wrestling Championships bronze medallist Ganzorig’s aggressive intent was too much for Yogeshwar, who was almost pushed out of the wrestling zone early on. Yogeshwar who won London 2012 bronze medal in the 60kg category, was not able to put the pressure on the Mongolian wrestler and lost on technical points. Dutt trails 0-3 after 5 minutes.
Yogeshwar, who qualified for the Rio Games only in March this year, after struggling with a knee injury, was expected to turn the tables in the second period but he just could not script a comeback.

He tried to pin down his rival in the last minute of the bout but all his efforts went in vain.
