The action is far from over, though, as a tournament-style schedule begins Wednesday and runs through the championship game on Monday.

These are players who are now fighting to earn their way into the league.
Tyler Haws’ summer league campaign with the Cleveland Cavaliers got off to a hot start with 12 points in just over 11 minutes of play Friday in a loss to Golden State. Warren, Jahlil Okafor and Jordan Clarkson. He leads the team in assists per game and is third in steals.
With him finally being healthy, Gordon will have a great opportunity to showcase his talents in all facets of the game this season in Orlando.

In all, the big takeaway from this is the Rockets’ tryout players aren’t awful.

He may be able to contribute to a team in need of shooting off of the bench, despite his poor shooting performance in Vegas. Just to understand how surprising his three point percentage now is, a year ago in the D-League Curry averaged 24 points per game off of almost 8 three point attemps per game. The 6-foot-6 forward missed both of his three-point attempts and still didn’t show much of a perimeter game, but Dawson’s energy and athleticism made him effective. A two-game stretch against the Los Angeles Lakers and the Denver Nuggets in February proved to be the spark Brown needed to carry him for the rest of the year.
