Ford is now selling a special-edition F-150 model for the most hardcore Dallas Cowboys fans. Not only is Ford the official vehicle of the Dallas Cowboys, King Ranch edition Ford trucks are directly related to the largest ranch in the Lone Star State, King Ranch in Kingsville, Texas.

More than twenty years ago, Ford teamed up with the Dallas Cowboys NFL team to offer a limited-run “Cowboys Edition” Ford F-150. Other special touches include laser-etched chrome treadplates that read “Cowboys”, a cargo bed mat with the star logo and a numbered plaque in the cabin autographed by Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones. “I can’t think of a better way to celebrate the opening of the Ford Center at The Star and the beginning of a new Cowboys season than to offer fans of both F-150 and the Dallas Cowboys the opportunity to purchase one of these incredible trucks”.

The practice facility – which also serves as a high school football stadium for several Dallas-area teams – opened earlier this month. The company says that Texas is the nation’s largest truck market and the Ford F-Series is the best-selling truck in Texas.
