So here is the breakdown of Easter Sunday in the I-30 corridor for various times.

The past few days have been mainly dry across Western Washington (except areas north of Everett), and it looks to stay dry Saturday.

A series of cold fronts will move through Tuesday and Wednesday which means a few rounds of showers or periods of rain are likely during that time.

For most of the day today we are going to experience very gusty southwest winds in areas to the east of the continental divide. If you’re headed into northern New England there actually could be some accumulating snow in the mountains.

You will want your jacket this morning because temperatures will start out in the upper 30s to low 40s today. It’s fairly mild, but it will start getting cooler through the afternoon after the wind shifts from south to northwest. Showers ending by early afternoon.

Saturday is panning out to be a rather nice afternoon, sunshine for the morning with temperatures in the 50s. Cloudy with a round of midday showers. The beginning of next week will see cooler daytime highs in the upper 40s and lower 50s. Clouds will increase a bit, but no rain is expected.

It’s no April Fools Joke, an unusual late-season wet snow will arrive as we head into Sunday night and Monday.
