Forecast: Much Needed Rain on Sunday & Monday

Tuesday: Rain will increase in coverage and in intensity as the day goes on. Peeks of sunshine are certainly not out of the question but there will be more clouds than sun as highs reach only into the mid 60s.

It’s a handsome and cool fall afternoon, and there’s more chill coming for the night. On and off showers will then continue throughout the day on Tuesday before clearing out Tuesday evening. Lows tonight will drop into the lower 60s and the winds will shift from the south to the northeast. Skies will remain cloudy for the remainder of this evening and during the overnight hours.

The cold front we expected has come and is just now leaving but it barely produced rain and, as your yard would testify, we sure need it. Steady rain is likely through the entire day Wednesday, where we could receive a solid soaking.

Our next storm system will move in Friday, bringing beneficial rain and cooler temperatures. They will fall back into the 60s behind it. Lows will fall from the mid to upper 60s to the low to mid 50s. Showers exit by daybreak on Thursday.

Mostly cloudy skies with a 30-40% rain chance.

FRIDAY AND SATURDAY: Sunny and cool, lower 60s. Another chilly air mass arrives too. Low temperatures ranging in the 40s with 30s in the west. Outside of that, we’ll have mostly sunny, seasonable days and cool nights – right on through Halloween.
