Forecast: Showers remain a possibility on Friday

The forecast for today, November 16, calls for mostly sunny skies with highs in the mid 40s. By Wednesday morning, skies should be clear with a low around 25. Our weather is expected to stay dry next Monday through Thanksgiving Day, with temperatures going from below average on Monday, to more average temperatures as we approach Thanksgiving Day. Rain is expected to spread across Long Island this afternoon, according to the National Weather Service.

A bright but windy morning, with a mixture of sunshine and isolated showers. Lows will be in the upper 60s. Wednesday will be partly sunny with a high near 45.

Tomorrow night: Partly to mostly cloudy. They further said that it is going to be a cloudy Tuesday with a temperature high around 62 degrees. Low 37F. Winds light and variable.

Wednesday: Mostly cloudy with a 20% coverage of showers. 20% chance for a shower. New rainfall amounts between three quarters and one inch possible.

Tuesday: Cloudy with a high temperature near 62. Windy with a southeast wind 23 to 26 miles per hour. Rain chances increase Friday and Saturday of next week as a cold front slowly moves towards and eventually through the area. Wind: NW/SW 15-25; gusty. Looking ahead to Thanksgiving week we can expect clouds and sun on Monday and Tuesday with overnight lows in the 30s and daytime highs in the 50s.
