Forecast: Snow likely to return Friday; winter storm possible early next week
Sunday temperatures will rise from Saturday’s sub-zero lows and will peak in the mid teens, said Craig Evanego, a meteorologist at National Weather Service.

Wind chills may be between 20 and 30 degrees below zero, with some locations possibly approaching 35 degrees below zero. The temperature might rebound to the lower 20s this afternoon as the high slides off into the Atlantic, but the wind chill will remain near 10 degrees.
The hazardous weather outlook issued early Friday covers the following counties, according to the weather service: Wayne, Oakland, Macomb, Livingston, Washtenaw, Monroe, Shiawassee, Genesee, Midland, Bay, Saginaw and Lenawee. Wind chill values as low as negative 3.
The winter weather advisory is in effect until 6 p.m. on Sunday. Breezy, with a south southeast wind 15 to 20 miles per hour, with gusts as high as 30 miles per hour.
WEDNESDAY NIGHT: Skies will be mostly cloudy with an overnight low temperature of 28 degrees. The Pocatello, American Falls, Aberdeen, Blackfoot, Fort Hall, Shelley, Idaho Falls, Dubois, Arco and Rockland areas are expected to see a rain-snow mix with little snow accumulation.
We can look forward to near-record warmth and another day of sunshine on Thursday, the National Weather Service says.
The coast is also under a freezing spray warning until noon on Sunday morning, which could result in heavy accumulation of ice on vessels and coastal structures as cold and wind conditions cause tiny droplets of water to accumulate and freeze.
Friday: A slight chance of snow showers before 7 a.m., then a chance of snow showers after 8 a.m. Mostly cloudy with a high near 23.
Tuesday: Partly sunny, with a high near 33.
The Big Apple is one of the areas under a winter chill advisory, with a possible wind chill of negative 25 degrees. Lake effect snow showers can be seen for parts of the Great Lakes.
Chances of snow into Sunday morning will be near 100 percent.

Thursday: Partly sunny, with a high near 32. Parts of the state are under similar wind chill advisories while emergency crews already were dealing with weather-related incidents on the roadways.
