Forget Putin, They Can’t Even ‘Handle CNBC Moderators’: Barack Obama Mocks
Following the first GOP debate in September, a few candidates were visibly sweating – something Donald Trump later mercilessly pointed out.

It was one of the most memorable parts of the debate because Cruz brought up a valid and understandable point; the media is treating the Republican Presidential Primary like a joke. Why?
On the stump in Des Moines last Friday, Cruz proposed a solution to Republicans’ debate question complaints: “How about instead of a bunch of attack journalists, we actually have real conservatives?”
“I’m the one getting all the tough questions”, he said during a press conference promoting his new book “Crippled America”. “But I will tell you, John Harwood was a disgrace to CNBC”.
Last week Sen. Lindsey Graham told ABC News he favors two evenly divided debates so that every candidate gets a fair shot. “When we were going through the worst economic crisis in our lifetimes, unemployment and uninsured rates were up, we were hopelessly addicted to foreign oil and (Osama) bin Laden was still on the loose”. But [the networks] are getting tremendous – 23, 24 million people. Others, such as Ben Carson, are organizing debate critics to help demonstrate leadership.
The Arizona senator and former GOP presidential nominee mocked the current field for their public griping and threats about how future debates will be conducted after a badly run debate by CNBC raised candidates’ hackles.
The Christie campaign also confirmed to Politico and CNN that the New Jersey governor would not be signing onto the letter, citing comments Christie made on Monday morning that the Republican candidates should “stop complaining”. A couple other candidates followed suit. I’m going to take care of the vets. They want to cut you apart.
“It’s really just turned into a bigger mess than four years ago”, Schroeder said.
“These are all things that weren’t talked about during the debate”, Trump said. “In my opinion, she’s the nominee – unless she gets indicted”, he added.

The night of the CNBC broadcast Trump said he “had a lot of fun”. Jeb Bush, once the presumptive frontrunner, has cut salaries and shed staff in a campaign now widely considered to be on life-support.
