Former Alabama RB Alten Tenpenny, who was dismissed from Nicholls State Sunday, died in a single-vehiclevehicle wreck that killed the former Alabama running back. After impact, the auto apparently continued down an embankment and crossed over a county road, overturning several times and colliding with a utility pole. Current and former players took to Twitter to remember their former teammate. He then enrolled at Nicholls State.

The 21-year-old had participated in spring practices after transferring from Arizona Western College and initially playing at Tennessee.
