Former Bengals defensive lineman found dead
Former NFL defensive lineman Bryan Robinson, who played 14 seasons in the league, was found dead over the weekend in a Milwaukee motel room, according to the Chicago Tribune. The Milwaukee County Medical Examiner’s Office is investigating the death.

Robinson played in the National Football League for 14 years, and was with the Bears from 1998 through 2003.
After his time in Chicago, Robinson went on to play for the Miami Dolphins, Cincinnati Bengals, and Arizona Cardinals, but never had the same success that he enjoyed in Chicago.
One of Robinson’s most memorable moments came on November 7, 1999 when the Bears played the Packers in the first game since Hall of Famer Walter Payton’s death. He blocked a 28-yard field goal attempt by Green Bay’s Ryan Longwell, breaking the Bears’ 10-game losing streak. At 305 pounds, Robinson didn’t pretend to have a whole lot of vertical, declaring afterwards that, “I think Walter Payton actually picked me up a little bit and boosted me up in the air because I can’t jump that high”.

Robinson was signed by the Rams after going undrafted in the 1997 NFL Draft.
