Woodall was arrested at his family’s residence in Knoxville, Tennessee by Tennessee Bureau of Investigation (TBI) Agents and accompanying GBI Agents.

Georgia authorities launched an investigation into Woodall in September at the request of the Bibb County, Ga.

Charges relating to a second boy stem from alleged misconduct between October 2008 and October 2010.

The Macon Judicial Circuit District Attorney’s Office alerted the GBI to the case after citizens reported to the prosecutors’ office that they thought a crime might have occurred.

Woodall worked in the Milledgeville, Ga.

Less than a month later, Woodall resigned his position as a GBI agent which he held since December of 2011. Throughout the course of the investigation, the GBI met with the District Attorney’s Office and discussed the progress and developments in the case.

Woodall is now in the Knox County jail awaiting extradition to Georgia.
