Former Longhorn Nate Boyer voices support for Colin Kaepernick

Kaepernick has been sitting while his teammates stand during the “Star Spangled Banner” this National Football League preseason in an attempt to influence change in “a country that oppresses black people and people of color”.

“He wasn’t alone in the anger directed toward Kaepernick. F*** that guy”, another executive said. This is far from scientific, but I believe this is likely the feeling among many front office executives.

Not only that, his image has reportedly become so toxic that virtually every National Football League executive hates him.

One NFL executive told Freeman he can not remember this much “collective dislike” for a player since Carruth. Some even said that he may be the most hated player since Rae Carruth, who plotted to murder his pregnant girlfriend a few years back.

“I might not necessarily agree with it, but I don’t know where he’s coming from, cuz I’m not him”.

“People don’t realize what’s really going on in this country”, Kaepernick said Sunday.

“In my career, I have never seen a guy so hated by front office guys as Kaepernick.”

One owner told Freeman that he would rather resign than sign Kaepernick. “I think they’re two entirely different situations”. “I find it ironic that citizens who live in a country whose existence is based on dissent criticize someone who expresses dissent”.

Even though my initial reaction to your protest was one of anger, I’m trying to listen to what you’re saying and why you’re doing it.

The AFA described the socks as a “great disrespect for police officers”, and said that Kaepernick’s “actions continue to embarrass all professional sports and bring reproach on his team”.

The positive reaction to Boyer’s message started rolling in on social media after it was posted. The biracial Kaepernick has been outspoken on his Twitter account on civil rights issues and in support of the Black Lives Matter movement.

The AFA also cited a CBS News report from September 1 about Kaepernick wearing socks that appear to depict a cartoon pig wearing a police officer’s cap.

Jose “Pepe” Hernandez of the Cuban American National Foundation, which is anti-Fidel Castro in nature, had plenty to say about Kaepernick’s protest of the flag and the National Anthem. “Castro, Hernandez said, has caused ‘numerous deaths, disappearances, imprisonment of people and separation of families so there is no understanding Kaepernick’s thought process'”.

His reason for not standing?

Freeman pointed out that Kaepernick had not broken any rules, and that several players who had committed actual crimes were still playing in the NFL.

Former Green Beret Nate Boyer said he respects Colin Kaepernick's decision to sit during the national anthem
