Family and friends stand strong beside Lamar Odom as more details of his accidental overdose unfold.

Odom’s former teammate Dwayne Wade tweeted, “PRAYERS all the way UP for my brother Lamar Odom!!!” and “I can’t help but to be up right now…” He was airlifted to a nearby hospital in Las Vegas.
After the brothel called 911, Odom was rushed to a nearby hospital and then taken by ambulance to Sunrise Hospital in Las Vegas because he was too tall to fit in a helicopter, Nye County Sheriff Sharon Wehrly said. The brothel’s owner, Dennis Hof, told Newsbeat the basketball star “was doing herbal supplements, herbal Viagra if you will, and he was doing a lot of it”. He appeared on Keeping Up with the Kardashians and the couple even had their own show, Khloe and Lamar.
‘They confirmed his usage on Saturday but was unsure if it had continued.
“And she said “please don’t do that, we’d rather have Khloe say what needs to be said'”.
Hospital employees said that they found samples of cocaine and sexual-performance-enhancing drugs in Odom’s system when he was admitted to the hospital.
Odom and Kardashian separated in 2013 after six years of marriage and finalized their divorce earlier this year, but are still legally married as a judge has not yet signed the documents.
According to the Associated Press, Odom had been at the legal brothel for four days when 911 was called.
He played 14 seasons in the National Basketball Association, winning two championships with the Lakers for the 2008-09 and 2009-10 seasons. Odom’s other family members, including his father and two children, have also arrived on the scene.

Sources close to Odom told E! they have been told by medical personnel that Odom is on a ventilator, has suffered at least one stroke and has suffered brain damage, but is not brain dead.
