“Subsequent investigation revealed Donovan McNabb was impaired by alcohol and collided in a rear-end fashion with another vehicle which was stopped at a red traffic signal”, the report stated.

The morning after the arrest, as PFT pointed out, McNabb was blithely touting his new sneakers.
According to the Gilbert Police Department, the 38-year-old athlete was arrested after officers responded to a non-injury collision involving two vehicles in Gilbert, Ariz.
“While Donovan spoke, I noticed a strong, fruity odor on his breath”.
The mugshot of McNabb has been released by Phoenix reporter William Pitts.
Police said a blood sample was sent to the Mesa Police Crime Lab for analysis.

McNabb served a day in jail in April 2014 after pleading guilty in another DUI case resulting from a December 15, 2013, arrest in the Salt River Pima-Maricopa Indian Community east of Phoenix. As a repeat DUI offender in Arizona, the ex- Philadelphia Eagles quarterback is facing a minimum of 90 days in jail. “It’s a blessing no one was hurt”, said Owens, who famously feuded with McNabb after the two helped lead the Eagles to an NFC championship and a Super Bowl loss to the Patriots following the 2004 season. He also played in 2010 for the Washington Redskins and 2011 for the Minnesota Vikings and is now an analyst for the National Football League Network and FOX Sports.
