Former Packers player announces retirement from NFL
FILE – In this February 6, 2011, file photo, Green Bay Packers’ Greg Jennings reacts after catching a pass during the second half of Super Bowl XLV against the Pittsburgh Steelers, in Arlington, Texas. He expressed negative thoughts about Rodgers, but only put up pedestrian numbers in his three years with Minnesota and Miami.

Jennings’ best seasons came during his time with the Green Bay Packers, who drafted him out of Western Michigan with the 52 overall pick in the 2006 NFL Draft. “And this smile is not going to be removed, it’s going to be enhanced”.
Well, it’s a sad day in Madden fandom today, because Greg Jennings has announced his retirement from the game.
“Obviously he’s a Super Bowl champion”, McCarthy said. “Let’s do it.” Jennings had a quiet season in 2015 with just 19 receptions for 208 yards and one touchdown – the 64th of his career – in his only season with the Miami Dolphins. “No more big hits, no more ‘Touchdown, Greg Jennings!”.
Jennings thanked fans for their support of his career and his family, and he said he would keep them updated with what his next endeavors would be.

He did not reveal what his next career move will be, but said he is “just getting started”.
