But in a Fox News interview on Sunday, Gingrich said that while Trump had made mistakes, he thought Clinton’s errors around a private email server she used while President Barack Obama’s secretary of state were worse. “Ours is the campaign of the future”.

Clinton’s advertised economic speech in Detroit comes amid a jobs tour she and her running mate, Virginia Senator Tim Kaine, launched after the Democratic convention.

Hillary Clinton, the Democratic presidential nominee, is leading her Republican rival Donald Trump by nine points, a latest opinion poll said today. Trump will look to start getting back on track with his speech Monday at the Detroit Economic Club. Clinton has been pulling away from Trump in recent polling, following his disastrous battle with the parents of slain Iraq War veteran Capt. Humayun Khan.

He will also call for a repeal of the estate tax and for three income-tax brackets, compared to the seven now in existence. And a companion plan on reducing government spending, which he had promised would follow, never came. Kudlow said he will also propose an increase in the standard deduction for families and special deductions for childcare and the elderly. The current Child and Dependent Care tax credit is capped at 35 percent of qualifying expenses or up to $3,000 for one cared-for individual or $6,000 for two or more.

As recently as Sunday, Trump focused more on Clinton’s mental health and appearance than on policy.
