Former Republican presidential hopeful Graham: won’t back Trump or Clinton

Other big-name Republicans, such as former 2016 contender and ex-Florida Gov. Jeb Bush, joined Graham in saying they would not be voting for Trump. Lindsey Graham, R-S.C. Trump inconspicuously announced the endorsement earlier on Friday at a rally in Omaha, Nebraska, as he ticked off the names of several prominent Republicans who have come around to his candidacy since he became the party’s presumptive nominee earlier this week. “And so I said, ‘Listen – my view is just relax and be gracious, and I will talk to Paul and we will try to work on this'”. “Hillary was an enabler and she treated these women horribly”. “So put that in her bonnet and let’s see what happens”. “If the delegates ratify this madness in Cleveland, many of us will look elsewhere for a credible candidate to oppose both Trump and Clinton”. He has turned his gaze to likely general election opponent Hillary Clinton, and in Spokane he linked the Democratic front-runner with husband Bill Clinton’s past marital infidelities and 1998 impeachment.

Slamming Democrats was to be expected, but Trump’s problems within the GOP itself remained an unusual spectacle of Republican vs. “Because that’s not something we can afford”, Obama said. “But what I do believe is that he loves this country and he will surround himself with capable, experienced people and he will listen to them”, Perry told CNN about Trump Thursday.

Ryan said Thursday he cannot support Trump right now, and questioned Trump’s conservative values. While some supported backing a third-party candidate, others thought it was better to consider other ideas, such as a write-in candidate. Nor did it say they will support the same person in every state. This is not entertainment, this is not a reality show.

Some Republicans were not shy about expressing their displeasure with Ryan.

“He said I’m a cancer on the Republican Party – that’s the bad news”, Trump said Friday.

“Yesterday’s statement emboldens others to be equally publicly hard”. “I believe it’s Wednesday”.
