Former terrorist and 3-year-old son shot dead in Kashmir
Gunmen first threw a grenade, and when that didn’t explode they sprayed bullets at Bashir Ahmed, himself a former militant, outside his home as he was carrying his son, said a police officer, speaking on customary condition of anonymity. Bhat succumbed to his injuries on the way to the nearby hospital. While the father died while he was being shifted to hospital last night, the boy passed away on Saturday morning.
