Former Toronto Mayor Rob Ford has a new cancerous tumor
Doug Ford says Councillor Rob Ford’s tumour in his bladder is cancerous, conistent with his previous tumour.

Rob Ford, 46, was hospitalized for several days last week with abdominal pain, a statement released by his office on Wednesday said.
The 45-year-old former Toronto mayor was diagnosed with a rare and aggressive form of soft-tissue cancer in September, 2014, forcing him to quit his re-election campaign. If the initial chemotherapy proves unsuccessful, he said doctors will compete three more rounds before operating sometime in 2016.
“If I pass before my time, I just ask people to try and help out Doug, Stephanie and Renata”, he said.
The latest health setback appeared to be a grim repetition of what took place just over a year ago as the controversial Ford, nearing the end of a tumultuous term as Toronto’s mayor, sought another four years at City Hall.
Rob Ford did not lead off when journalists questioned him on Thursday as he left Mount Sinai Hospital in Toronto.
If the chemotherapy expected to begin next week is successful, doctors will operate on the tumour around Christmas time, Ford said.
“I reprenais shape, I felt good, I felt better than I had ever been in my life and now I’m back to square one”, said the mayor, who added that he would cease not to fight “until the day I die” reported CTV News.
Doctors said in May they saw no sign of other tumours or cancer spread, Jacobs said at the time.
“I am optimistic but I am a realist too”.
Following the diagnosis in September, Ford withdrew from the mayoral election.
Those types of engagements, however, have been significantly scaled back since the scandal-plagued mayoralty that brought him global notoriety.

Despite his denials, Ford admitted six months later to smoking crack cocaine in one of his “drunken stupours”.
