Former U.S. Sen. Scott Brown to endorse Donald Trump

Before speaking with thousands at a rally in Milford, New Hampshire Tuesday night, Trump did earn the endorsement of former Massachusetts Senator Scott Brown, even though the two do not see eye to eye on every issue.

“I went there and I think we did really well, we did really well”, Trump said.

According to The Hill, when an audience member at Brown’s rally for Trump suggested to Trump that he should select Brown for his running mate, Trump replied, “Vice president – hey, that sounds like it could, hey, hey, very good”.

Brown moved to New Hampshire to challenge Democratic Sen.

Donald Trump is putting a positive spin on his 2nd place finish in Iowa despite predicting he’d win. Brown’s endorsement would also make him the first USA senator – current or former – to endorse Trump, the Post noted.

Scott Brown, who last I heard is looking for another state to lose a Senate election in, is going to endorse Trump formally before the crowd still taking its time entering the hall (as the Rolling Stones “You Can’t Always Get You Want” plays at a respectful level in the background).

It was only a few weeks ago that Brown hosted Trump at a backyard barbeque in New Hampshire.

For Ted Cruz, the man who did come out on top in Iowa, Tuesday was about riding that wave into NH, telling Granite Staters he needs their help. Marco Rubio of Florida, who placed a strong third in Iowa, is another threat.
