Forster ready to go for Southampton

Southampton’s search for their first Premier League win under the stewardship of Claude Puel continues when the Saints travel to north London to take on Arsenal.

Forster injured his arm in training last month and was replaced by club mate Alex McCarthy in the England squad against Slovakia.

He said: “I can not explain it, it was just an action”.

“He worked very well, every day, but now it’s important he make good work with a strong knee”.

This week is a big one for the Gunners, with a trip to France to face PSG in the middle of two Premier League games against Southampton and Hull City that we must surely win to keep up with the early EPL pacesetters.

“I don’t know [when he will be fit]”.

Arsenal midfielder Aaron Ramsey won’t be risked in this weekend’s game against Southampton, according to the Daily Telegraph. Although they won just one of their five home games against sides that finished 6-10 last season, the Saints are performing much more like a bottom-half club this term where Arsenal won eight of 10.

After disappointing home draws with Watford and Sunderland – and a close defeat to Manchester United at Old Trafford – the St. Mary’s outfit have just two points to show for in their opening three games.

“I think we’re getting better with each game since the manager has come in, so if we can continue that then we’ll get that first win and three points so things can only get better from there”, Davis told the website.
