Forza 6 Apex has just been confirmed by Microsoft, coming in Spring
Microsoft didn’t confirm whether this would be the next Forza Horizon (last year’s release was Forza Motorsport 6). There will also be a new objective system that’ll challenge players to complete skill-based tasks in exchange for in-game currency.

Microsoft has promised that the Forza Motorsport games for PC will come out to be “thrilling racing, addictive gameplay, and [feature] stunning graphics”. Being a “First in Forza” means Xbox One owners will be the first to take the limited edition Lamborghini for a virtual spin, even before it’s released in the real world.
So if you have any doubts about this being a free-to-play title on the underwhelming Windows 10 Store, the following trailer should alleviate any doubts as to the quality of the game.
Forza is one of the biggest series on the new Microsoft home console, managing to move no less than 10 million copies and it seems that the company aims to release a new title every year. The original Horizon debuted on Xbox 360 in 2012, while Forza Horizon 2 launched in 2014. The developer declined to comment on any upcoming paid expansions, but emphasized the importance of updates to Apex, specifically in spotlighting specific cars with different events.
We’ll have more on the next iteration of Forza as it becomes available.
“Forza Motorsport 6: Apex” will be available to download on Windows this spring. Phil had just brought the XBOX sales back to life after a successful holiday season, and was the only voice representing gaming in the Windows 10.
There have been no details on monetizing this latest entry into the Forza series as of yet. “We are 100 percent committed to the PC-gaming space”, said Spencer.
