Forza Horizon 3 Promises More Open-World Racing Fun

Forza Horizon 3 is part of Microsoft’s synergistic Play Anywhere program, which means if you buy it for XBox One, you’ll get the same game on PC free. And in addition to the running theme of everything coming out for both Xbox One and Windows 10 with cross-platform support, the game was also revealed to be set in Australia!

Cross-play was promised for most of the new games, including Forza Horizon 3.

Now the festival is headed down under, and Turn 10 studio head Alan Hartman says that having Australia as the backdrop “allowed us to create the largest, most diverse, beautiful, and fun open world we’ve ever built”.

GameCentral goes through all the Xbox One’s games announcements, including first looks at Sea Of Thieves and State Of Decay 2. One of these games is Forza Horizon 3, the third installment of the highly successful Forza Horizon franchise.

Those that place a Forza Horizon 3 pre-order get two vehicle packs absolutely free.

The next installment of Forza Horizon comes out September 27 and features over 350 vehicles, including everything from sports cars to off-road vehicles.

The demo started with each player racing in a different locale, working on their own mission or campaign.

The majority of changes to the new game centre around social and online gameplay, with new features that aim to up the ante of Horizon’s online offering. Next up came the indie train, and the many indie game passengers aboard its, umm, carriages.

The game is set in Australia, and the trailer does honest justice to the gorgeous landscapes, beaches, forests and even sunsets of that attractive country.

Fulton confirmed all the other details from the earlier leak: Horizon 3 will feature the largest map and auto roster of the series to date, and its cover star will be the outlandish Lamborghini Centenario.
