Israel said Stern and Russell waited in a getaway vehicle while the twins were in the courtroom Friday when the 21-year-old Resiles somehow undid his shackles, leapt a barrier and fled.

Dayonte Resiles, 21, bolted from a fourth-floor courtroom and slipped out of his jail jumpsuit on the way out an unlocked door.
Israel said he hoped for the safe return of Resiles, with no injuries to him or the deputies who apprehend him.
Stern told police she provided a bag with the change of clothes and also provided a vehicle that would be waiting for Resiles once he got outside. Stern and Russell confessed to the plan to investigators, according to the documents.
But Resiles remains on the lam and police say he is considered armed and unsafe.
The twins in court communicated via cellphone with Russell and Stern and signaled Resiles when the vehicle was ready for him. There, Russell gave him clothes and kept for himself in a bag a generic police uniform, Israel said.
“This escape was preplanned, we know that was Dayonte Resiles had accomplices”, said Broward Sheriff Scott Israel. Stern and Russell are being held without bond.
Two bailiffs, described by Israel as unarmed citizens, were in the room at the time, but were unable to detain Resiles.
According to Stern’s arrest report, the escape was planned and included a rental vehicle, a change of clothes, including a police uniform, boots and a gun belt.
The charges brought against the Barnes brothers were not immediately clear.
Resiles faces murder and other charges in the September 8, 2014 killing of Jill Halliburton Su, grand-niece of Halliburton Co. founder Erie P. Halliburton.
The report went on to say that Resiles was holding a handcuff key when he got inside the waiting rental vehicle.
Stern and Russell now face charges of escape and accessory after the fact to 1st degree murder. Rewards totaling $20,000 are being offered for his capture.
“There’s only two ways to get out of cuffs”, Israel said.

He has a number of tattoos including images of flames, a skull and hand, an angel and stars with the phrase Hood Stars.
