MI police arrested a father Wednesday who allegedly murdered his four children in their family home.

Sources said the man’s 4-year-old girl and 6-year-old girl were killed by carbon monoxide poisoning in a vehicle and their bodies were later moved inside the home.
Gregory Green is now accused of killing his two daughters, 4-year-old Kaleigh Green and 5-year-old Koi Green, and his stepchildren, 17-year-old Kara Allen and 19-year-old Chadney Allen.
The children’s mother, Faith Green, was forced to watch the murders before being shot, but she survived her injuries. The man was sitting on his front porch when police later arrived at the home. Police found their mother injured and bound with duct tape and zip-ties.
When asked if they had a possible motive, Dearborn Heights Captain Michael Petri said: “I think only the defendant can answer that question”, adding that hopefully someday they’ll get an answer.
Court records reviewed by The Associated Press show Faith Green filed for divorce in August, citing a breakdown in the marriage relationship. Her divorce lawyer, Harvey Beck, spoke briefly with the AP, calling the deaths a awful situation, but declining further comment.

Police say they had been to the family’s house several times in the past for domestic violence and family run-ins.

“We don’t have a lot of instances like this … it is a very tragic situation”, Dearborn Heights Mayor Dan Paletko told WXYZ of the small city in the Detroit metropolitan area. “And they had two or three picnics with their whole family this summer”.
