Four more Zika cases confirmed in Missouri

When an unusually high number of babies in Brazil were born with microcephaly past year, health experts began to suspect Zika virus.
Florida authorities have yet to find the virus in mosquitoes, which obtain it from the blood of infected people and then spread it when they bite someone else.
Often people infected have no symptoms, but those who do have symptoms report fever, rash, joint pain and red eyes. “We continue to closely monitor developments in our understanding of the Zika virus as treatments and testing regimes develop”.
