The wave of violence since October 1 has left 86 Palestinians dead – many of them alleged assailants – as well as 15 Israelis, an American and an Eritrean.

“I heard cries and my Arab employee told me, “He’s stabbing”, Israel Bachar, a 65-year-old who runs a print shop, said.

“While in Tel Aviv, Jerusalem, and Ramallah, ‎ Secretary Kerry will discuss bilateral and regional security issues, including Syria and Daesh”, the State Department statement said.

A few 92 Palestinians have been killed and hundreds of others injured since the Israeli regime began a harsh crackdown on the protests. The Israeli army raided the Palestinian radio station, confiscating equipment and causing significant damage, the station said, after the military accused it of celebrating attacks on Israelis.

The director of al-Khalil Radio, Amjad Shawar, said Israeli soldiers stormed the radio station overnight, making it the second Palestinian news outlet to be closed this month by Tel Aviv.

A Palestinian terrorist armed with a knife murdered two Israelis and moderately wounded a third during a rampage in a southern Tel Aviv office building on Thursday afternoon. Reports said that midday prayers were taking place at the time, and that the attacker had attempted to enter the synagogue but had been prevented by worshippers.

Israel blames this latest round of attacks on what it says is “incitement” and a failure of Palestinian leaders to condemn the violence. Israeli forces have a history of using unjustified or excessive force against Palestinian protesters.

Tens of thousands of Palestinians with work permits travel into Israel daily and are traditionally perceived as a low threat.

The violence has Israelis on edge, and several politicians have urged licensed gun owners to carry their weapons.

Details of the West Bank attack were still emerging. “Israel must also end practices such as house demolition which collectively punish the wider Palestinian population”.
