Fox News anchor Megyn Kelly has book deal

Trump bowed out of the last debate on January 28 after moderator Megyn Kelly questioned the bombastic billionaire about whether his misogyny was presidential in Fox’s first GOP contest.

Trump hasn’t yet said if he’ll skip the Detroit debate because of Kelly.

The row between Kelly and Trump could come to a heated head on March 3 when she moderates yet another Fox News debate.

Kelly will again go head-to-head with Trump at a March 3 Republican debate on Fox News, and she’s looking forward to it. At that debate, Kelly said she has her opening question ready.

“I stand by every question I asked him and he was not the only one who had tough questions”, she said. The August 6 debate delivered a record-breaking 24 million viewers and remains the highest-rated non-sports cable broadcast of all time.

The Fox News anchor will publish her first book with HarperCollins in the fall, in a deal reportedly worth millions of dollars after a bidding war with several publishers. Trump, by debate standards, already lost to Kelly and everyone on stage with his “no-show”.

Speaking on “Good Morning America” on Friday, Kelly agreed with Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton, who recently said there’s “a special amount of venomous commentary reserved for women”. “And I’ll finally get a chance to ask him”. “So I wouldn’t have changed places, I mean I did the right thing”.

“If you gave me that question, I’d hit you the same way”. Trump has already said he’ll be there, and Kelly will be a moderator again.

Last week’s Donald Trump-less debate was still the second-most viewed program in the network’s history.

“I’ll be there, I have no objection to being there”, Trump said Friday.

Kelly has emerged as one of the lead characters in the country’s most watched TV series, The GOP Debates after she was cited by Republican front-runner Trump as being among the reasons he boycotted FNC’s recent debate on the eve of Iowa caucuses. “And I’m a member of the press and we’re supposed to press, and see if they’re worthy”, she said. In an announcement on Fox News, Trump revealed his plan to appoint justices that would overturn marriage equality.
