Fox News continues its vicious assault against Red Hot Chili Peppers

Not long afterward, one of his replacements, Bill Shine, was also named in a sexual harassment suit filed by another former host, Andrea Tantaros.

Gutfield went after the band during the panel show The Five Monday, while showing a video of Chili Peppers bassist Flea with Koko the Gorilla that went viral over the weekend, in which the musician was “teaching” the gorilla to play the instrument. You’re either a Faith No More fan, or a Red Hot Chili Peppers fan. Commenting on the incident, which was actually a attractive moment of interspecies friendship that also demonstrated the bonding powers of music, Gutfeld took the opportunity on air to express his negative opinion of the band. Then he doubled down on Wednesday, clarifying, “What I meant to say was the Red Hot Chili Peppers is the worst band in the universe”.

His rant not quite over, Gutfeld interjected, “The ape is better than Anthony Kiedis”. He offered after the unexpected diatribe, “I love the Red Hot Chili Peppers, big fan”. You have to love Mike Patton, you can not love Anthony Kiedis.

Neither Kiedis, nor Faith No More’s Mike Patton, have commented so far on Gutfeld’s bold new RHCP/FNM dialectic, presumably because they’re both too busy squib-a-wib-a-bye, Lucy in the sky, wimp womp samurai to properly weigh in. Are we really going to take him seriously?
