According to a report from Opposing Views, the feud between the two Republican presidential hopefuls began last week when Trump implied that Fox News debate moderator Megyn Kelly had been hard on him because she was on her menstruation cycle. “I thought she asked a very unfair question and so did everybody on social media”, Trump explained.

Rubio, who has languished in polling but received wide praise for his debate performance, said in a statement that Clinton “holds radical views on abortion that we look forward to exposing in the months to come”, citing various stances she has taken over the years on parental notification and other issues.
“Mr. Trump has decided to not apologize and I certainly won’t apologize for doing good journalism”, she said.
As Gossip Cop previously reported, “Celebrity Apprentice” victor Piers Morgan is also standing by Trump, while fellow victor Arsenio Hall has said Trump’s recent actions have made him feel less proud of winning his NBC competition.
“It’s all entertainment – I think he’s having the time of his life, being up on the stage, saying whatever he wants to say, getting people excited”, Clinton continued.
Trump and Fox News chairman Roger Ailes have apparently struck a fragile truce. “I do want to keep that door open in case I don’t get treated fairly [by the Republican National Committee]”. “His word is always good!” Ailes said in a statement that the air has been cleared, and he continues to support Kelly “100 percent“.
Kelly added that she’s not going to respond to comments by Trump that “attacked me personally”. And Mr. Trump, I expect, will continue with what has been a successful campaign thus far.
The conservative group RedState dis-invited Trump from its annual gathering in Atlanta over the weekend, but now he has a high-profile defender in reality show star Omarosa Manigault.
The one network on which Trump did not appear Sunday was Fox News. The presidential hopeful said Kelly had “blood coming out of her eyes, blood coming out of her wherever.”
The spat ignited during this week’s ratings-record-smashing primary debate, where the bombastic billionaire felt he was unfairly targeted by the Fox crew. “I’m very surprised at Fox News … it’s pretty unprofessional”.
He maintained Monday that he never intended to say anything inappropriate about Kelly and said the uproar over his criticism was “all fueled by the press”.

“I think the guy went way overboard – offensive, outrageous, pick your adjective”, Clinton said after a town-hall meeting in Exeter, NH.
